I am a tattoo artist working out of Melbourne City Tattoo, Level 2, 289 Flinders Lane, Melbourne, Australia. I will very happily both tattoo my own flash designs, or draw you a custom tattoo. I will repeat flash designs. If you like a custom piece I have made for another client, I am happy to reference the design and make you your own, but I will not repeat a custom design. Please see my available designs page here.

A non-refundable deposit of $100 AUD is required to confirm your appointment, or a $200 deposit for a full day. Rescheduling is accepted with 72 hours notice. If you have not paid a deposit, there is no appointment, unless you are a regular client.

Consultations are free and take 15 minutes. Consultations need to be booked in. I do not send out designs prior to the day of your tattoo appointment as a general practice, so a consultation is a great opportunity to have a conversation about your tattoo, ask any questions you might have, or just meet me as your tattoo artist to make sure you are comfortable at the beginning of the process.

Please arrive at the time scheduled for your appointment. If you are running behind it’s normally not an issue if you just send me a message and let me know. If there is a big delay, we may no longer have enough time, it is just case dependent. You do not need to arrive early.

Make sure you are well fed and hydrated. It’s very normal to be a bit nervous before your tattoo. We have candy and water available at the studio. Your body needs hydration and sustenance for best handling the tattoo process. Do not wear fake tan. You must be sober.

Parking is difficult and a bit of a barrier in the Melbourne CBD, please consider catching public transport, or budget for city parking.

I have a health condition known as Myalgic Encephalomyelitis, or Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. It is a neurological over-response to exertion. Tattooing is physically, mentally, emotionally and socially exerting. It is my favourite thing in the world and I am grateful for each of my clients and their trust and collaboration. This will not impact your appointment or tattoo in any way, except that I may need to take a small break of around 10 minutes every 2 hours in order to manage my energy levels.

I normally charge per flash piece, please email or fill out a tattoo form if you have any specific queries. If you have a full day appointment (6+ hours), I will charge by an hourly rate of $200 AUD per hour.

Please let me know at the beginning of the process if you have a budget you would like to stick to - I am so happy to work to budgets if it makes tattoos accessible to you, and am happy to let you know what a realistic expectation is for your budget. Please be aware that last minute changes to design or placement can affect the amount of time the tattoo takes, and therefore the cost.

The studio is cash only, and there are ATMS close by if you need to withdraw cash at any time during your appointment.

On the day of your appointment you will be provided with an aftercare sheet with information on best practice tattoo healing. I will also likely provide you with additional information tailored to you and your tattoo specifically. We have aftercare product made by Inky Tattoo Salve available for purchase at the studio for $10. You can email or message me at any time during your healing process, I will be happy to hear from you!
